According to available sources of news, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party has announced a reshuffle and appointment of new officials, following a meeting of its National Governing Council (NGC).
The NGC has approved the appointment of Senator Oburu Oginga as the new Party Leader, a move that solidifies his position within the party hierarchy.
In addition to Dr Oburu's elevation the NGC has approved other key leadership positions.
Governors Nassir, Simba Arati and Senator Osoro have been approved as the Deputy Party Leaders.

Furthermore, several other prominent members have been assigned new roles.
Dr. Ariko Namoit and Dr Omollo have been approved as the new Vice Chairpersons.

Ruth Odinga who is the Kisumu Woman Representative has been named Deputy Organising Secretary while Rosa Buyu, the Kisumu West MP has been appointed as the Secretary of Political Affairs.
The newly appointed officials have assumed office immediately.
However, their full tenure is subject to ratification by the higher decision-making body the National Delegates Convention (NDC).
