DCP leader, Rigathi Gachagua, has disclosed that the endgame of his actions against President William Ruto is to ensure he does not secure another term.
The former Deputy President, who was impeached last year, says this is the reason he has been very hard on the Head of State and his administration.
He claims Ruto has failed to make things right in the country, including ending corruption, and for that reason, he must vacate office come 2027.
The former Mathira MP has also swore to push on with his anti-Ruto campaign, stating that he does not care what the President thinks about him.
"For us to stop corruption and theft of public resources, Ruto must leave office. It is not our business to make him happy, we are not in the business of making him comfortable," he said on Citizen TV, Tuesday night.
Gachagua claimed Ruto is already aware that he might actually be pushed out of office, and is now trying to come up with strategies to save himself.
One of them, he alleged, is trying to water down the 'Wantam' slogan, to cool the heat and reduce the pressure being piled on him by the opposition.
He also claimed Ruto has began complaining about the doings of the opposition, another indication that the heat is becoming too much for him.
