37-Year-Old Bomet Dad Found Red-handed in The Act With His Son, 7, After Locking Him in Private Room in His Home

A 32 year-old man is now detained at the Bomet central police station for sodomizing his 7-year-old son.

The act took place at their residence in the Cheboingong area in Bomet county.

As per Bomet County police commander Edward Imbwaga, the individual, identified as Denis Koech, was arrested following a report from his wife.

The wife informed the police that he had repeatedly mistreated the minor by locking him in a room and assaulting him when no one else was present.

Law enforcement officials visited the location and took the suspect into custody, while the victim was transported to Longisa County Referral Hospital for medical assessments.

County activist Stella Seurey mentioned that the suspect's family had wished for the issue to be resolved locally by village elders

However, the police proceeded with the investigation as mandated by the law.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
