Kabando Very Happy After Learning What Ruto is Doing to Bishops he Promised a Cabinet Ministry

Former Mukurweini Member of Parliament Kabando Wa Kabando says that President William Ruto did not lie to ordinary Kenyans alone but men of God too.

Kabando has been a vocal critic of the President, accusing him of lying to Kenyans in his campaigns and keeping close to zero of the promises he made.

He is now mocking bishops and preachers who were coalescing around Ruto during the campaigns, celebrating that the President has betrayed them.

Kabando says that while this is just another group Ruto duped, it is not bad, since some of the things he promised them were unconstitutional.

"Rais Ruto deserves support at least on 1 lie. He duped pastors he'd share serikali. CoK2010 is succinct: Kenya is a secular state - NO STATE RELIGION. Zakayo manipulated them that he'd violate CoK PREAMBLE on Supremacy of God and as espoused in VALUES enunciated in Article 10," the former Nyeri senator candidate says in a tweet.

Ruto, among others, promised to create a ministerial docket for the group, namely Ministry of National Guidance and Religious Affairs.

He also promised preachers state appointments and nominations to the National Assembly, Senate and County Assemblies and the formation of the Registrar of Religious Organisations.
