Panic as Bodyguard Finds 35 Bullets Hidden in Toilet at MP’s Newly Purchased Lavington House

A bizarre discovery was made in Lavington when a bodyguard attached to Belgut Member of Parliament Nelson Koech found a pistol magazine hidden in a toilet at a newly purchased house.

The magazine, which contained 35 rounds of ammunition, was discovered while the bodyguard and a team of workers were cleaning the residence.

According to the bodyguard, the unusual blockage in the toilet prompted them to investigate further. 

“We noticed the toilet was not flushing properly, so we decided to check inside. That’s when we found the rusty magazine wrapped in nylon paper,” he said.

The workers immediately alerted authorities, who arrived at the scene and took custody of the ammunition.

Police are now working to establish how the magazine ended up in the house and whether it is linked to criminal activity.

The ammunition will undergo forensic examination to establish its origin. 

Detectives are expected to question previous occupants and review property records. Officers confirmed the matter is being treated seriously despite no arrests.

This case heightens concerns about illegal firearms circulating within the city.
